Liberty Chevrolet Supports
Feeding America as Part of "Chevy's Giving More"

SELMA, Cali. (November 22, 2010) – Liberty Chevrolet announced today it is supporting Feeding America as a part of Chevy's national 'Giving More' campaign. Focused on giving back to the communities they serve, Chevy dealers across the country are 'Giving More' to select charities and by delivering products that give more in terms of styling, performance and value like the all‐new 2011 Cruze.

"As a part of this community, we are involved in many activities including youth sports, child seat safety checks, and the police and fire associations," said Amber Nelson for Liberty Chevrolet. "At this time of year, when many Americans are struggling to make ends meet, we felt it was a particularly important time to support Feeding America."

Liberty Chevrolet is coordinating a food drive to help our neighbors in need, because for one in six Americans, hunger is a reality. Feeding America leverages a unique relationship with 202 local member Food Banks, including Community Food Bank in Fresno. The dealership will serve as a collection point for canned and other non‐perishable foods from November 26th to December 23rd and will deliver them to Community Food Bank. Liberty Chevrolet hopes to collect 1,000 cans and boxes of food. Liberty Chevrolet is encouraging their employees to really get involved this year by offering one raffle tickets to each employee who donates three non‐perishable food items to be entered into a cash prize drawing. Something everyone can use around the holidays and a sure way to bring the organization together in an effort to support those in need in our community. This raffle is exclusive to Selma Auto Mall employees.

To make a donation, please visit the Chevrolet showroom during business hours: 8am – 7pm Monday – Saturday, and 10am – 6pm on Sunday.

Liberty Chevrolet Youth Soccer League In the spirit of teamwork taught by youth sports, Liberty Chevrolet is teaming up with Selma Youth Soccer League to provide their players and coaches with soccer kits filled with equipment bags, soccer balls, sport cones, practice jerseys and t-shirts, a monetary donation and an opportunity to help them raise funds.

"We are proud to be able to help the kids in our community by donating equipment and giving them the opportunity to raise much-needed funds for their league. We are excited to be part of the effort this year, and anticipate a fun-filled season with Selma Youth Soccer League," said Amber Nelson of Liberty Chevrolet.

June 9, 2009 DRIVE LIFE WITH SELMA AUTO MALL

Supporting Our Local Heroes
SELMA, CALIFORNIA (June 9, 2009)—In today's slumping economy, every business, organization, and family are being affected by cuts in employment, budget, and all resources in general. Unfortunately, those organizations that every city needs to remain a united community are taking the largest hits (i.e. Police, Fire, Education, City, etc.). In an effort to give back to our local heroes who work to keep the community of Selma a safe home for thousands of residents, Selma Auto Mall will be donating $100 from every vehicle sold on Saturday, June 13th to Selma's Fire and Police Force.

Selma's Fire and Police Departments will be on site with official vehicles, equipment, volunteers, and give-aways. Proceeds raised on Saturday will go towards Selma Fire Department's Live Training fund and Selma Police Department's Radio Equipment fund.

In addition, Selma Auto Mall will also be hosting a Blood Drive for the Central California Blood Center from 11am to 2pm on Saturday, June 13th. June and July are always scarce months for blood supply due to the hot weather so every donor will have a significant impact. Donors are encouraged to come to the gift of life and receive a free t-shirt for their support.

In keeping with the Selma Auto Mall's typical summer weekend ritual, there will be hot dogs, drinks, train rides, a bounce house and characters for the kids.

May 6, 2009: 2010 Camaro Launch

You've waited for it, and you've been patient. The never before seen 2010 Chevrolet Camaro will be unveiled and auctioned May 6th at Liberty Chevrolet, Selma Auto Mall. SELMA, CALIFORNIA (April 28, 2009)- It has been almost a decade since the last release of the Chevrolet Camaro. Like the Corvette, Mustang, and Firebird, the Camaro is a one of a kind beauty that has enthusiasts of all ages anticipating the near approaching May 6th launch date.

Liberty Chevrolet, part of Selma Auto Mall, has anticipated this event since General Motors first announced production of the 2010 Camaro three years ago. To ensure it is the biggest launch event of all Central Valley dealers, Liberty Chevrolet is pulling out all the stops for the most elaborate reveal in the Camaro's 40-year history.

In accordance to factory standards, the Camaro is to remain unseen until May 6th. To ensure its secrecy, the vehicle will remain covered and suspended to a height out of any arms reach. Come launch day, May 6th, Liberty Chevrolet will host former Mayor Alan Autry in their showroom for a live radio remote on KYNO from 10 am to 12 noon. The evening launch party will begin at 5 pm as guests wait in suspense for the official unveiling of the 2010 Camaro and live auction in which one lucky devotee will have the chance to drive home the new Camaro that night.

Continuing to give back to their community, Liberty Chevrolet will give a portion of the proceeds to Selma High School's "Every 15 Minutes" program; a program in which the entire student body recognizes the dangers in drinking and driving and remembers those lost or injured in an alcohol related car accident. In addition, proceeds will benefit Selma High School's band who will be performing in the launch event. Also, Selma Fire Department will bring out their newest fire engine for display!

May 6th has been anticipated by many and it is finally here! Live on-site radio remote with a local celebrity, live on-site auction from an official auctioneer, live music from local talent, local heroes representation, AND community contributions, Liberty Chevrolet ensures you an extraordinary event to mark this momentous day. After all, it isn't every day the auto industry is able to celebrate the rebirth of such a classic design.

November 28, 2008: Selma Auto Mall Cares Food Drive

SELMA AUTO MALL CARES
Selma Auto Mall hosts Selma Cares Annual Canned Food Drive and Santa Brings in Bicycles from the North Pole.

SELMA, CALIFORNIA (November 28, 2008)—For 30 years Selma Cares has provided thousands of needy families within the Selma community with food, toys, and clothing. This year the Selma Auto Mall has partnered with Selma Cares in collecting canned food for 550 families in need of a Christmas dinner. The names of these families are given to Selma Cares through Selma Unified School District, Head Start, and the Senior Center.

For fourteen years the Selma Auto Mall has found a home in the community of Selma. In an effort to give back to the roots of their success, Selma Auto Mall will be hosting a designated drop-off location for the Selma Cares canned food drive. "Without the support from our surrounding community, the success and longevity of this business would not be possible. This holiday season we hope our efforts will make a difference," said President, Dwight Nelson.

Running from November 28th to December 19th, Selma Auto Mall employees are coming together to collect canned food amongst their departments, as well as encouraging their customers to get involved. Selma Hyundai Suzuki Service is offering a complimentary oil change to any of their customers who make a contribution as well as Selma Nissan is doing something similar.

In an effort to make sure the holiday season will be enjoyed by everyone, Selma Auto Mall will be hosting Santa's Village through the month of December. Families are encouraged to come see Santa, take pictures, enjoy some hot chocolate and candy canes, and be entered into a drawing for one of the new bicycles, straight from the North Pole.

Selma Cares brings together volunteers from various businesses in the Selma community, Rotary, Selma High Interact and Leadership students to collect and distribute items that have been donated. This year Selma Cares is putting an emphasis on providing a Christmas to as many families as possible. "Many of these families would be without a Christmas if it weren't for Selma Cares. We are collecting everything from turkeys to baby formula," says Cindy Howell, volunteer of Selma Cares.

To make a drop-off, visit any one of the five buildings within the Selma Auto Mall. The meal boxes will be delivered to the 550 families on December 20th. The Selma Auto Mall is confident that by coming together, a difference will be made this holiday season.
